Built by Scottish plantation owner William Kellie-Smith in the early 1900s, this unfinished architectural marvel combines Moorish, Indian, and Romanesque styles. Intended as a grand home for his family, the castle's construction was halted after William's untimely death in 1926. Over the years, the castle has captivated visitors with its fascinating design, including a towering structure, hidden staircases, and a rumored underground tunnel. Shrouded in mystery and steeped in history, Kellie’s Castle continues to inspire awe and curiosity among all who visit.
